Vin Marinaro has been a Rotarian for 26 years and spent much of that time developing and supporting local, district, and international youth initiatives. He coordinated the first district Interact conference and has been a facilitator for subsequent annual interact conferences. He has also been a presenter at the United Nations Rotary Day focusing youth on the UN Millennial Goals. One of Vin’s main focuses has been the District RYLA committee, where he served as co-chair and coordinated travel arrangements for RYLA students to the World Affairs Seminar in Waukesha Wisconsin. He was a counselor at the Seminar for three years.
 
He has served as Pittsfield Club President in 2005-2006 and has spent ten years as assistant governor for District 7890. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and has been awarded the Service Above Self Award for Area 1. In his 50 year career, he has been an educator, youth center director, and senior center director. He currently resides in Pittsfield with his wife Sheila and works part-time in his retirement.
