Scituate Rotary Club
 
Sharon joined the Rotary Club of Scituate Rhode Island in 2008. She has been a Girl Scout leader for many years, and had been trained as a teacher, so her focus became youth and youth programs. A new RYLA committee was being formed that year and Sharon attended a meeting describing the program. She was so inspired that she asked to join the committee, and attended RYLA for 6 years, serving as family advisor and committee member.
 
She has served as club secretary in 2011, president-elect In 2012 and became president of her Club in 2013, and will serve again as president in 2022. She also has served as assistant to two District Governors.
 
Club Service also includes Foundation Chair (2014 - 2021), Membership Chair (2017 - 2018), and Treasurer (2021). Her key project is a community garden which was planted in 2011. Sharon took the lead for 10 years during which time hundreds of pounds of food were donated to local food pantries.
 
In 2015, Sharon was appointed as an Assistant Governor and also the New Generations Chair for the District. She planned a successful Youth Conference in 2017 and coordinated with the New Generations chairs of 4 other districts. This Conference was held in conjunction with the District Conference and was attended by over 100 Interactors and Rotaractors.
 
She is a multiple Paul Harris fellow and has attended each District Conference, 3 Zone Institutes, and 4 International Conventions, which has given her the opportunity to be trained by top leaders from all over the world.
