Lori Karas is an award-winning Operations, Sales and Customer Experience Executive with expertise within a variety of industries with a goal of enabling leaders and teams to exceed expectations.
 
Currently, she serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Operational Services Division within the Administration and Finance Executive Branch of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. There, she oversees the sourcing for Statewide Contracts for the procurement of good and services, performance analytic and systems team, help desk, local government enable team, as well as buyer and vendor training team.
 
Passionate about giving back to the community - a Rotarian since 2015 - Lori is currently a member of the Peabody Rotary Club, and Assistant Governor. She has served on several district committees and written scripting or hosted Fireside Chats for a variety of events.
 
Lori is Past President of the Boston #7 Club - 2017-2019. She is a Bequest Society Member and Paul Harris Fellow. Lori is a former Board Member of the American Red Cross 2012-2021, and Member of the Disaster Action Team since 2005. Over the years, Lori served on American Red Cross of the Northeast’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, Philanthropy Committee and Heroes Committee. Formerly, she served The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Advisory and Financial Services Boards, Boston by Foot as Trustee and Treasurer, and taught financial literacy at St Francis House – a day shelter in Boston.
 
Lori holds a BSBA from Suffolk University with a major in Marketing and minor in Business Law.
