James (Jim) Fusco joined the Rotary Club of Montachusett Area  in Leominster, Massachusetts in October of 2003. He was President in 2012-2013 and in 2006-2007 when his club was certified as a “100% Paul Harris Fellow Club”.  He has served as the Public Relations Chairperson, Executive Secretary, on the Board of Directors and on the Membership Committee.
Jim and his wife Karen are Major Donors and graduates of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI). Karen is also an active Rotarian and a member of the Rotary Club of Fitchburg since 1991.
On the District level he has been honored three times as District 7910 Rotarian of the Year, served as chairperson of the District 7910 Bandey-Hefler Friendship Exchange for 9 years, District Conference chairperson in 2010 and 2013, District PR chairperson, Assistant Governor, Coordinator of Assistant Governors, District Trustee, District Governor and Treasurer of the Multi District (7910, 7930 & 7950) PR Grant Committee.
Jim is the 2016-2017 Chair for NEPETS (Northeast Presidents Elect Training Seminar) and is currently serving as the Zone 32 Assistant Rotary Coordinator (ARC) for Districts 7780, 7890, 7950 & 7980.
He graduated from the University of Massachusetts as an Industrial Engineer and was previously employed by General Electric as a Field Service Engineer. He worked in the Food and Beverage Industry for many years and is a past member of the National Restaurant Association Advisory Board. He is retired and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army of Fitchburg.
Jim can often be found behind the lens of a camera at Rotary functions, cruising, visiting his Bandey Hefler friends in England, but more often than not, in front of his computer. He also enjoys a good game of pool, dominoes, or cribbage.
Jim resides in Fitchburg, MA with his wife, Karen, also a Rotarian. They have two daughters, Holly and Heather, and three grandchildren, Abrianna, Alexander and Jonathan.
